The Wellfleet Fire Department will be participating in the Third Annual WCOD Police and Fire Stuff-A-Bus Challenge to provide toys to families in need. We will be accepting new unwrapped toys at the Fire Station until Saturday, December 12.
The Wellfleet Fire Department has a chart which will help you decide whether an illness is a common cold, seasonal flu, or H1N1 flu. You should follow the recommendation of your doctor to treat any illness, but this chart may help you distinguish between the symptoms of these three illnesses.

Each year, the Fire Department reponds to unoccupied homes which have been damaged by frozen pipes, wind, water, or fire. If you're leaving for the off-season or going away on vacation, you can take some simple precautions to reduce the possibility of significant damage to your home.
Thanks to the Wellfleet Non-Resident Taxpayers Association, who asked for some recommendations for their members, and who suggested that this should be widely distributed.
